Excuse my ignorance if iv'e missed something but.. If you're going to make multiple references in your post to something of help (yes that means other sites articles) it makes a lot more sense to us readers if you could provide a link to said review/article instead of just saying "My friend Damian"

Cheers for your effort though.

Howdy! Thank you for an interesting review! Could you kindly let us know where you guys get the prices for this device? We see that the H1 is now $319 so we are looking at quite a price hike from what most are reporting in these reviews and such. When and why did these go so much higher?!!

At $250 I can see getting this, but at $70 bucks more what are you getting? As far as we know, this device still is unable to browse to another music file while playing the first music file?! Also no ability to play slide show with music? These are things that every RT1185 player does without a problem. Seems simpble to me. How about the glitch Damien referred to in his review, the MKV chapter support issue? Has that been fixed? What we are looking for is something that is self contained and no PC needed to setup or configure it. The player based upon the 1185 chipset was perfect in that regard, but it failed miserably in it's ability to play ripped standard dvds in both dvd structure (VIDEO_TS\VOB) and iso formats.

I really wanted to get this but after seeing how much more $$ it costs it makes me pause to consider other choices. Of course I have no idea of those other choices capabilities either so now we're stuck. I've posted an inquiry on Damien's review page where I covered some of what we need. If it's OK, I could do that here.

Thanks again for the information.
