I grew up with slot cars. I had a small 2 lane track, I think some Dukes of Hazzard cars, and a father who lived and breathed slot cars when he grew up. Makes it pretty cool to think about just how far they have come.
We spoke with one of the Marketing Managers at Carrera at Toy Fair this year and the things we saw, outside of Spider-Man and Avengers sets which were relevant to our interests, 6 cars on two lanes, lane switching, full digital…and finally, in 2012, fully cordless 2.4GHz control of your slot cars!
